This coffee comes from 24 farming communities in the Frailesca and Sierra Mariscal regions, deep in the Sierra Madre de Chiapas mountains. The farms sit between 1,200 and 1,800 metres above sea level and benefit from the rich forests and cool climate of the El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve — one of Mexico’s most beautiful and diverse natural areas.

The coffee is decaffeinated in Veracruz using the Mountain Water Process, a natural, chemical-free method developed by Descamex. Pure water from Pico de Orizaba, Mexico’s highest mountain, is used to gently remove 99% of the caffeine while keeping the full flavour and aroma intact.

In the cup, you’ll find bright notes of orange and citrus, rounded off with a smooth brown sugar sweetness. It’s a rich, flavourful decaf that you can enjoy any time of day — full of taste, and full of care for the people and environment it comes from.
